De La Soul have released a new mixtape titled Smell the DAISY.
This new mixape features previously-unreleased beats created by J Dilla, the record producer and rapper who influenced many other acts in the underground hip-hop scene.
De La Soul previously made headlines in February for releasing their back catalogue for free on their official website.

The pioneering hip-hop group have made Smell the DAISY available on BitTorrent for their loyal fans.
This new mixape features previously-unreleased beats created by J Dilla, the record producer and rapper who influenced many other acts in the underground hip-hop scene.
J Dilla passed away in 2006 from the blood disease thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura.
Smell the DAISY includes not only new music, but also the J Dilla documentary Still Shining and the additional audio track 'Smell the DAISY Letter'.
J Dilla-themed wallpaper art is included as well.
De La Soul previously made headlines in February for releasing their back catalogue for free on their official website.
The group are expected to unveil their latest LP You're Welcome later in 2014.
