FOX UK has announced that it will air new episodes of Louie just three days after US transmission.
The wait for fans in the UK is far shorter than previously; last year, FOX aired the third season of Louie 15 months after its US airing.
The fourth season of the critically-acclaimed comedy will debut in the UK on Thursday, May 8.

The broadcaster made a similar scheduling shift with The Walking Dead last year. Originally taking a week to reach the UK, the zombie drama now airs on FOX one day after US transmission.
Louie stars stand-up comic Louis CK and is a tragic, comic and often surreal sitcom based loosely on the comedian's own life.
The series airs on FX in the US, where season four will premiere on May 5 with back-to-back episodes.
