Megan Hilty has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Brian Gallagher.
She said: "We took the test together. It was the best present he got this year - or any other year for that matter!"

The former Smash star revealed to Us Weekly that the couple found out they will become parents on Gallagher's 34th birthday in January.

She said: "We took the test together. It was the best present he got this year - or any other year for that matter!"
Hilty also shared her pregnancy cravings - "sushi, tuna fish sandwiches, coffee and champagne" - and said that she has not "shopped for any baby things yet".
She and Gallagher tied the knot in Las Vegas in November.
Hilty is a Broadway veteran, having portrayed Glinda in Wicked and Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical.
She played Broadway star Ivy Lynn in the NBC series Smash, which lasted for two seasons.
