The writer responded to a question on Tumblr regarding a follow-up to the acclaimed miniseries.
"I'm happy to report that the sequel is officially greenlit," he wrote.
Sara Pichelli illustrated the 2012 five-issue miniseries, which teamed the original Spider-Man Peter Parker with his alternate Ultimate Universe doppelganger's replacement Miles Morales.
Lost in the alternate reality, the pair go up against Mysterio.
Bendis first teased plans for the comic in early 2013.
Marvel Comics is yet to offer official comment on plans for Spider-Men 2 or offer a release schedule.
