While some of the features on show have already leaked, the videos offer a glimpse of the operating system's new background features.
According to one video, a parallax effect has been added to the Start Screen background. Live Tiles can also be set to transparent and skinned with an image.
The second video shows Nokia's rumoured Lumia 630 budget smartphone in action using Windows Phone 8.1 on a 4.5-inch screen.
Previous rumours suggest that the device may pack a Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM.
The Lumia 630 is slated to be one of the first devices to run the Windows 8.1 operating system, which will be unveiled at Microsoft's Build conference on April 4.
