Daylight release date pushed back until end of April

Daylight has been delayed until the end of April.

Originally scheduled to launch on April 8, the first-person horror game will now make its PS3 and PC debut on April 29.

Priced at £11.99, the title will be available for purchase from Steam and the PlayStation Store.

The game will take advantage of Twitch chat, which will be used to cue in-game events, giving viewers the opportunity to scare players.

For example, spectators watching a stream of Daylight can type "meow" into the chat, which causes the game to make a corresponding sound of a cat.

All the words that trigger in-game responses will be on timers, so viewers won't be able to spam them.
