Microsoft isn't planning to bring back Shenmue, it has been suggested.
"I know there is lots of Shenmue love out there," said Spencer (via GameSpot ). "But it's a Sega game, we can't build it."

The publisher is incapable of making a sequel to 2001's Shenmue 2, according to Xbox head Phil Spencer .
"I know there is lots of Shenmue love out there," said Spencer (via GameSpot ). "But it's a Sega game, we can't build it."
At GDC 2014 last month, series creator Yu Suzuki expressed interest in developing Shenmue 3.
Sega confirmed that a recent listing for the unannounced game was fake.
