Original story: PS4 update 1.70 will be available to download next week, Sony has announced.
According to the PlayStation Greece Facebook page, PlayStation 4 users will be able to start downloading the update from April 30.
The release date was previously outed by Sony Japan.
Version 1.70 will introduce SHAREfactory, a video editor that allows users to edit and customise their gameplay videos with filters, transitions, themes, text and custom audio tracks.
It also allows video commentary with picture-in-picture support for PlayStation Camera.
Other video improvements include the ability to download raw or edited gameplay videos - as well as screenshots - directly to a USB device.
The update will also turn off HDCP, allowing external capture devices to record footage from a PS4.
Finally, version 1.70 will introduce pre-loading as well, allowing users to pre-order and download a game from PSN before release so that it can be played as soon as it's available.
Pre-loading was expected to launch with Sucker Punch's open-world release Infamous: Second Son.
