Angelina Jolie was supported by her huge happy family at the Maleficent premiere in Los Angeles last night (May 28).
The 38-year-old actress exuded a glamorous gothic style in a custom made Versace black leather gown with ruching detail, which she accessorised with gold spiked cuffs and a dramatic bronze spike through her ear.
The star was accompanied by long-term partner Brad Pitt - who looked understated in a black suit and tinted sunglasses - and their children Pax, Zahara, Knox, Shiloh and Maddox.
Daughter Vivienne, who made her silver screen debut in Disney's re-imagining of Sleeping Beauty as a young Aurora, was noticeably absent.
Elle Fanning, who plays Princess Aurora, looked regal in an off-the-shoulder pastel-coloured embroidered Elie Saab gown, while co-star Juno Temple, who plays Thistletwit, wore a black tux and a cream pussybow blouse.
There was also drama at the premiere when Pitt was hit by a male assailant who jumped over the barrier and struck the actor's face.

There was also drama at the premiere when Pitt was hit by a male assailant who jumped over the barrier and struck the actor's face.
It is thought the attacker was notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who crawled under the gown of America Ferrera at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month.
