James Maslow and dance partner Peta Murgatroyd left the competition after receiving the lowest combination of public votes and scores from the judges.

The pair began the night with a tango to Miley Cyrus's 'Adore You', which was scored 29 out of 30 by judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli. Their second freestyle performance was also given 29, making a 58-point score overall.

"It's alright, I've really had an amazing experience on the show," Maslow said in reaction to the news. "I've made some amazing friends, and I'm just grateful for the opportunity."
