Earth 2: World's End writer Paul Levitz has announced that he is no longer attached to the DC Comics title.
"I'm going to stick on Worlds' Finest and maybe some other projects; ultimately I decided that the structure of the World's End weekly just wasn't ideal for me at this time," Levitz told CBR .

The scribe said that the series' weekly format did not fit in with his schedule, but he will continue to work with the publisher on its Worlds' Finest title.

"I'm going to stick on Worlds' Finest and maybe some other projects; ultimately I decided that the structure of the World's End weekly just wasn't ideal for me at this time," Levitz told CBR .
"I wish them well with it, I hope fans have fun with them - these weeklies are very interesting challenges, but it just wasn't the right thing for me to be doing at this moment."
Levitz was one of numerous writers set to contribute to World's End, with Daniel H Wilson, Tom Taylor, Paul Levitz, Marguerite Bennet and Mike Johnson also on story duties.
Earth 2: World's End will debut in October.
