Flula Borg is a multi-talented YouTube personality whose channel has attracted over 45 million subscriptions.
According to Deadline , his role is being kept under wraps but he is likely to play a member of all-male group the A Cappellas.
Skylar Astin was recently confirmed as the latest actor to return to the musical comedy, alongside Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow.
Sons of Anarchy's Katey Sagal and True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld will also join the cast, while Elizabeth Banks is set to direct in what will be her directorial debut.
Pitch Perfect 2 is slated to open in cinemas in the UK and the US on May 15, 2015.
