Skylar Astin has signed on to star in Pitch Perfect 2.
Son's of Anarchy's Katey Segal and True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld will also join the cast, while Elizabeth Banks is set to direct in what will be her directorial debut.

The actor will reprise his role as Jesse in the 2015 sequel alongside Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow.

The musical comedy is slated to open in cinemas in the UK and the US on May 15, 2015.
Astin is best known for his previous roles in the TV series Ground Floor and Fox's Glee.
Banks posted a photo of the Pitch Perfect 2 cast earlier this week as production gets underway.
