Watch Dogs: How big is the game's Chicago city map?

Watch Dogs footage hinting at the size of the in-game world has appeared online.

A video depicting a roadtrip from one end of the game's Chicago city map to the other has appeared on Sony's PlayStation Access channel.

The game, which officially went gold last week, makes its debut on May 27.

It will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with a Wii U version planned for later.

Ubisoft recently revealed that Watch Dogs has become its most pre-ordered new property to date.

Earlier this week, the publisher confirmed that the review embargo on the game lifts on launch day.
