The upcoming expansion for the sandbox survival title will be available July 23 in Europe and July 22 in North America on PlayStation 4.
The DLC consists of new playable characters, seasons, creatures, biomes and additional challenges.
It will be priced at $4.99, with a 10% launch discount offered to PlayStation Plus members.
Klei Entertainment has also announced that all Don't Starve players will get a new free patch that includes performance enhancements and bug fixes.
The developer recently unveiled its PS Vita edition of the game.
