The Paolo Rivera-illustrated miniseries will mark Lemire's debut at the publisher.
The four-part series will see Eternal Warrior, Bloodshot and new Geomancer Kay McHenry facing off against the ancient and evil Immortal Enemy.
"You hear it all the time about how these events will change things moving forward, but The Valiant really is a story that puts a stake into the ground and really changes the flow of the Valiant Universe moving forward, and really shakes up the status quo of a number of character, and sets the stage for the next couple years' worth of stories," Lemire told CBR .
"It's something I'm really honoured to be a part of, coming on fresh and working with guys like Matt who have been working in the universe for a while."
He added that - despite centring on the three heroes - the comic "does touch on pretty much everybody in the Valiant Universe".
Kindt has been writing Unity and Rai for Valiant.
He collaborated with Lemire on Sweet Tooth and replaced him as writer on DC Comics' Frankenstein: Agent of SHADE .
Rivera collaborated with Mark Waid early on in his Daredevil run, alternating with artist Marcos Martin.
Lemire was recently announced to be ending his run on Green Arrow and launching The Black Hammer with Dean Ormston at Dark Horse now that he is no longer a DC exclusive creator.
The Valiant will launch in December.
