Peter (Ben Hardy) has previously confessed his love to friend Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa ) but she insisted on sticking with new boyfriend Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), claiming that she didn't feel the same.
However as she becomes increasingly confused by her feelings, Lauren decides to end her relationship with Dean, but she is shocked when he reacts angrily and loses his temper.
Having witnessed Dean's temper, Whitney goes after Lauren, who tries to call Peter but gets no response. When Whitney suggests to Lauren that she broke up with Dean because of Peter, Lauren remains in denial over her feelings.
Elsewhere, Peter has packed his bags and hands Cindy a note to give to Ian, but when Cindy reads it, she is horrified by its contents and immediately takes it to Lauren.
The note reveals that Peter is escaping Walford for good and heading to New Zealand, causing Lauren to race off and find him.
Catching up with Peter at the station, Lauren tells Peter that she loves him and the pair kiss, but will Peter change his mind and stay?

Coming up on Coronation Street, Kylie Platt takes drastic action as she searches for answers on her son Max's condition.
After David (Jack P Shepherd) catches Kylie (Paula Lane) taking some of Max's pills, he is furious and refuses to leave the children alone with her.
As Kylie and David's relationship remains strained, Kylie decides to do some digging by herself in order to get to the bottom of Max's ADHD diagnosis.
Heading back to her old neighbourhood, Kylie bumps into an old friend called Gemma. As they get talking, Kylie reveals that she wants to talk to Max's dad and Gemma confirms that he is around, saying she will pass a message on.
The following day, Kylie lies to David, saying she is too unwell to go to work, and later heads to the bus station.
As Eva finds her, she offers to accompany Kylie back to the neighbourhood, and they soon find Gemma in the pub.
However, Kylie is disappointed that there appears to be no sign of Max's dad Callum, but just as she is about to leave, she spots him. But will he be able to help her?

Over on Emmerdale, Jimmy King has some serious explaining to do when a mystery woman turns up and announces she is expecting his baby.
A visibly pregnant Juliette turns up in the Dales and shocks Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) by announcing that Jimmy is her unborn baby's father.
As Juliette goes on to explain how this is the case, it is clear that a shell-shocked Jimmy has some major explaining to do as Nicola demands answers.
It turns out that Jimmy deposited some of his sperm two years ago before having a vasectomy, hoping to cover all bases just in case he wanted another child in the future, but it was accidentally donated to Juliette following a mix-up at the clinic.
Jimmy feels sad when an unknowing Juliette tells him she will be calling the baby Carl and explains that all she needs is a signature from him to forget the child forever.
As Juliette leaves, an angry Nicola confronts Jimmy before storming off, but when Jimmy catches up with her, Nicola is taken aback by just how upset he is. How will Jimmy cope with not seeing his baby?

Meanwhile, Finn O'Connor's future remains uncertain in Hollyoaks, as his trial for raping John Paul McQueen begins.
After initially deciding to pull out of the trial, everyone is relieved when John Paul (James Sutton) turns up at court, determined to see justice served.
As John Paul takes to the stand to give evidence, the stress becomes too much for Ste and he calls his dealer. When Myra sees him coming out of the toilets, she is furious and tells him to stay away from her son.
Nancy is cross examined by Finn's solicitor, while Robbie is also questioned, but when it is Finn's turn to take to the stand, he convincingly plays the part of the victim.
John Paul takes to the stand.
Before it is Diane's turn to be questioned, Sinead urges her to realise that everyone else can see Finn is guilty apart from her, leaving Diane to ponder over whether she is doing the right thing.
As they wait to hear the outcome of the trial, Ste reassures John Paul that no matter what happens, they will make Finn pay.
Later, Diane tells Sinead and Tony that the jury has reached a verdict, but will Finn be found guilty?

Over on Doctors, Mandy Marquez decides to bid farewell to The Mill after realising that she needs a fresh start.
Mandy is inspired to move on following the tragic case of a patient named Catriona, who takes her own life following a homophobic attack on a night out.
While Catriona has a history of mental health problems and the reasons for her suicide are very complex, Mandy can see that she needed more support after the recent homophobic incident. With this in mind, she vows to retrain in community relations or victim support, keen to move on in a positive way.
Mandy's boss Howard Bellamy is reluctant to see her go, but it's clear that her mind is made up when she hands in her resignation and has a leaving party.
The storyline is an exit plot for actress Danielle Henry, who has now bowed out from her role as Mandy after nearly three years.
Doctors airs these scenes on Tuesday, September 30 at 1.45pm on BBC One.

Hollyoaks was the winner of our storyline poll last week as 40.71% chose the McQueen's targeting Sonny as the best plot.
