TOWIE Elliott on Chloe proposal rumours: 'She'll be first to know'

The Only Way Is Essex's Elliott Wright has remained coy over rumours that he is planning to propose to Chloe Sims.

Speaking to Digital Spy and others in Ibiza - where the TOWIE cast are filming two special episodes - Wright admitted that he is "very happy at the minute".

However, asked whether wedding bells are on the horizon, he replied: "I don't know about that! We have to wait and see... People have asked about my proposal to Chloe, and as much as I love you, the first person who'll know about that will be Chloe!

"For me obviously you have ideas about how you want the series to play out. I'm with Chloe now... whatever happens, happens. Let's see how the series unfolds."

Wright also revealed that both he and Sims are seeing the Ibiza trip as a chance to spend some "quality time" together without his two children and Sims' daughter Madison.

Speaking about the children spending time together, Wright explained: "They came to Alicante. It's difficult - it's not been easy if I'm being honest with you. Chloe's little girl has got ADHD, my little boy's got ADHD, so trying to get them to [behave] has been difficult. It's never going to be easy - we're both single parents and you come as a package, so it's just trying to bend that package.

"I've had Maddie round a little bit more. She stayed round my flat the other day - she likes that. I get a blow-up bed and say, 'You've got to be a good girl'. I use that as an incentive now - you can't stay round mine if you're not good. I'm bonding well with her. The thing is, I'm really happy at the moment. I'm in a very good place."

Wright admitted that having a relationship on the show is "not easy" as it means couples spend so much time together, but added: "I think that's a credit to me and Chloe right now - we've been full on since the word go and we're both really happy, so I think that shows a good relationship."

He added that "out of respect for Charlie" he's trying not to get involved in the arguments between Sims and Ferne McCann this series, though he said he would welcome having Charlie Sims as a brother-in-law.

"I think he's good," he said. "He's cool. I've always got on very well with him. He's got a good little deli and all."

Wright also revealed that he is open to having children with Sims, saying: "I accepted before I was with Chloe that if I met a girl, having children's a beautiful thing that I think everyone should experience. I did accept in my mind that if I got with someone else and they never had kids, I would have more kids. It's the same thing with Chloe.

"I think if we got married, although she's got her little girl and I've got my two, I think she'd want something from both of us. It is awkward - we've both got strong careers. Obviously I've got businesses in Spain and Chloe's got her salon and we're busy. So is it right? We'll have to wait and see. I don't know. But am I open to having more children - definitely."

The Only Way Is Essex will return with its Ibiza special on October 8, as part of the launch night schedule for new channel ITVBe.
