Spandau Ballet are new in at eight with greatest-hits collection The Story – The Very Best Of, while Jessie Ware's second studio LP Tough Love debuts at nine.
Pink's new project You+Me land at ten with debut album Rose Ave, while Britain's Got Talent's Jonathan Antoine enters at 13 with solo debut Tenore.
U2's Songs of Innocence debuts at 16 having previously been given away for free to iTunes users in September.
Elsewhere, Pharrell Williams' GIRL, Ben Howard's Every Kingdom and Ed Sheeran's + all re-enter the top 40 at 12, 25 and 38 respectively.
