Jesse Eisenberg to bring Lex Luther role in DC Comics' Suicide Squad?

Jesse Eisenberg has been attached to the DC Comics movie Suicide Squad.

Warner Bros is talking with the actor to bring his Lex Luther character, who he will debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice , to the new DC Comics movie Suicide Squad, reports Deadline .

Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad follows supervillains who were organised by the US government to work together as a black ops team in exchange for redemption.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie are also being sought to star in the movie.


Suicide Squad is planned for a 2016 release, according to Warner's DC film schedule, which includes a Justice League movie and a solo Wonder Woman film slated for 2017.

On Friday (October 24), Warner and DC are said to be searching for a female director to helm the solo Wonder Woman movie with Gal Gadot playing the title role, who she'll also debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder, also stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavil, who reprises his role as Superman.


Eisenberg's Luther will be the main villain in the movie. He previously shared that he is playing his Luther as .
