Speaking to You magazine, Roberts said: "By Hollywood standards, I guess I've already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift…"

She added: "I've told LancĂ´me that I want to be an ageing model – so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I'm over 50."

The actress went on to speak about relaxing and finding peace through studying yoga, saying: "It's about non-grasping, non-hoarding, cleaning out your closet, dusting out your mind and letting go of the things that weigh you down mentally and emotionally.

Roberts concluded by saying: "There's a lightness to my life now – an airy quality of not taking things too seriously. That's happiness."

The actress and her husband Danny Moder were recently honoured at GLSEN's (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) Respect Awards for their support of various charities and causes.

Roberts starred in Murphy's 2014 television drama The Normal Heart as a wheelchair-bound doctor treating HIV-positive patients.
