Speaking on The Xtra Factor, Ritchie revealed that he accepts that some will consider him to be a "joke act".

Stevi Ritchie speaks about being considered a "joke act"
"I don't mind being called the joke act," the singer stressed.
He went on to suggest that he might be singing a ballad next week, saying: "Hopefully, there's going to be a more serious side next week, fingers crossed."
Jake Quickenden was eliminated from The X Factor on tonight's show (October 26).
Ritchie added: "I'm going to miss Jake immensely."
Quickenden has spoken about leaving The X Factor, saying that he never did himself justice on the Live Shows.
Ritchie's mentor Simon Cowell has predicted that the contestant is not likely to win The X Factor .
