Julie Ann Emery and Brad Carter have been cast in ABC's Johnny Knoxville pilot.

Emery is playing Johnny's mother Genevieve, described as "shamelessly narcissistic and caring", reports Deadline .
The project is written and executive produced by Victor Fresco, and directed by Michael Fresco.
The comedy, based on Knoxville's life, centres on the childhood experiences of a 12-year-old named Johnny in the town of Knoxville.
