Kate Mara will reportedly star in developing sci-fi thriller Morgan.

According to The Hollywood Reporter , the actress will appear alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in the Ridley Scott-produced movie.

Morgan will mark the directorial debut of Ridley's son Luke, who will be supported by producers Michael Schaefer and Elishia Holmes, and executive producer George Heller.
The story, written by Seth Owen, focuses on a corporate risk-management consultant who is forced to decide the fate of an at-risk artificial being in a remote research lab.
Mara's current projects include the new Fantastic Four movie, in which she plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, as well as another Ridley film The Martian .
Morgan will be Taylor-Joy's breakthrough performance after appearing in Robert Eggers's The Witch.
