Sunday ratings: Academy of Country Music Awards surges from 2014

The Academy of Country Music Awards delivered a win in the key 18-49 demographic for CBS on Sunday (April 19) in preliminary ratings.

The annual awards show reached 3.6 (15.77m) at 8pm, up three-tenths of a point from the 2014 gala. Earlier in the night, 60 Minutes took 1.2 (9.90m) at 7pm.

America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC received 1.4 (6.38m) at 7pm, before Once Upon a Time held steady with 1.6 (5.12m) at 8pm, Secrets and Lies hit 1.4 (5.05m) at 9pm and Revenge received 1.0 (3.91m) at 10pm.

Fox's The Simpsons fell one-tenth of a point to 1.4 (3.23m) at 8pm. Family Guy was up two-tenths with 1.7 (3.33m) at 9pm, and The Last Man on Earth appealed to 1.4 (3.37m) at 9.30pm.

Dateline NBC averaged 0.8 (4.38m) at 7pm, AD: The Bible Continues fell six-tenths to 1.1 (6.28m) at 9pm, and American Odyssey earned 0.6 (3.29m) at 10pm.
