POTD: Emmerdale's Sam Dingle arrested over fire

Emmerdale's Sam Dingle is horrified as the police accuse him of starting the Home Farm fire in tonight's double bill (January 2).

Sam (James Hooton ) is doing an extra shift at the factory when detectives suddenly arrive to arrest him on suspicion of arson.

Down at the station, Sam protests his innocence but makes a potentially damaging mistake when he continues to insist that he didn't go near Home Farm on Christmas Day.

When Sam is confronted with the CCTV footage which places him at the scene, he realises that he may be in deep trouble…


Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
