The 27-year-old former star of The City accepted the proposal from the German model, who posted a video featuring his fiancé on Instagram.

The couple, who met through mutual friends and have been dating for five years, were on holiday in St Barts when the 27-year-old popped the question.
At the time of writing, Palermo has yet to acknowledge the news on Twitter.
