If they answer questions incorrectly, their seat starts to move back towards the edge - and if they fail to stop themselves, they're ejected from their seat and eliminated from the competition.
The last contestant still in their seat will then be able to take part in the final round, with the chance to win up to £10,000.
Gethin Jones has also landed a quiz show on ITV daytime, with The 21st Question seeing a "power player" facing ten challengers through a series of 'winner stays on' rounds.

The final player left standing can then go on to win, as long as they are able to answer the 21st Question.
ITV's director of daytime Helen Warner said: "ITV Daytime is the home of some fantastic quiz formates with the hugely successful The Chase and Tipping Point, so I'm delighted to welcome these two exciting new series to the schedule for 2014."
Peters currently provides the narration for The Big Reunion, which returns to ITV2 with its second series tonight (February 6).
