George Clooney has previously described celebrities who join Twitter as "morons"
"[No] just because, I like to have a drink at night," Clooney told Variety . "I could easily say something stupid, and I also don't think you need to be that available."
The Gravity star said he can't imagine Matt Damon or Brad Pitt wanting to join the social network anytime soon.
"I don't see Matt or Brad or myself wanting to get our thoughts out in a 140-character-thing at three in the morning."
Clooney also joked: "God forbid, you take a sleeping pill and wake up and the sentences don't even make sense. What a horrible idea."
In December the 52-year-old slammed celebrities who join Twitter, saying: "I think anyone who is famous is a moron if they're on Twitter. It's just stupid."
