A clip from the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side, starring Outkast's Andre Benjamin (aka Andre 3000), has surfaced online ahead of the film's SXSW screening.
In the video, Benjamin's Hendrix is shown flirting with Imogen Poots' Linda Keith, onetime girlfriend of Keith Richards, who inspired songs by both men. The two are also shown talking about going to Monterey, as Hendrix marvels at the lineup.
TORONTO REVIEW: All Is by My Side
The film was written and directed by 12 Years a Slave screenwriter John Ridley and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. It doesn't yet have a U.S. release date, but Open Road is distributing the film.
