Nashville stars Oliver Hudson, Will Chase promoted to series regulars

Oliver Hudson and Will Chase have been bumped to series regulars on the music drama Nashville.

Hudson joined the show as a love interest to Connie Britton's character Rayna, while Chase was added later to create a love-triangle storyline.

Hudson plays the brash Edgehill record label exec Jeff Fordham, while Chase plays country singer Luke Wheeler.

According to Deadline , the new series regular titles will go into effect for season three of the ABC series, should it be renewed.

Hudson, son of Goldie Hawn, is best known for roles in Dawson's Creek and Rules of Engagement.

Chase is known for his work in Smash and The Good Wife.
