Patrick Wilson has confirmed reports that he has been cast in Marvel's Ant-Man.
It was reported last month that the Conjuring actor was in talks to play a major role in the Edgar Wright-directed film.
Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas have already been cast in leading roles, with Rudd as the Scott Lang version of Ant-Man and Douglas playing Lang's predecessor Hank Pym.

The actor spoke to Screen Rant at this year's SXSW Festival about the project, but refused to give away much detail about his character.

Patrick Wilson says his role in Ant-Man is "important"
It was reported last month that the Conjuring actor was in talks to play a major role in the Edgar Wright-directed film.
Wilson did confirm that he will play an "important" role in the comic book adaptation.
However, asked if he would be playing a good or evil character, he simply said: "Can't tell you."

Last month, Edgar Wright confirmed that Gravity composer Steven Price will score the movie.
Marvel's Ant-Man will be released on July 17, 2015.
