Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs tops Thursday with 4.4m

Paul O'Grady 's For the Love of Dogs topped Thursday evening's (October 30) ratings outside soaps, overnight data reveals.

The ITV show appealed to 4.46 million (20.9%) viewers at 8.30pm with an added 164,000 (0.8%) on +1. The Great Fire continued with 2.43m (11.6%) at 9pm (169k/1.1% on +1).

On BBC One, Watchdog brought in 3.31m (15.9%) at 8pm, followed by David Attenborough's Life Story with 3.94m (18.9%) at 9pm. Question Time intrigued 2.30m (21.4%) at 10.35pm.

BBC Two's Autumnwatch interested 1.74m (8.3%) at 8pm, while Peaky Blinders was seen by 1.44m (6.9%) at 9pm. Russell Howard's Good News attracted 1.11m (6.6%) at 10pm.


On Channel 4, Amazing Spaces fascinated 1.38m (6.6%) at 8pm (257k/1.2%), while 24 Hours in A&E returned with 2.07m (9.9%) at 9pm (374k/2.4%).

Channel 5's Underground Britain was seen by 1.03m (4.9%) at 8pm, followed by Sham Wedding Crashers with 857k (4.1%) at 9pm (111k/0.7%).

On BBC Three, Zane Lowe's re-scored Drive entertained 391k (3.0%) at 10pm.


E4's latest Big Bang Theory episode amused 1.59m (7.5%) at 8.30pm (431k/2.1%), followed by Drifters with 404k (1.9%) at 9pm (175k/1.0%).


Elsewhere on the multichannels, Sky1's Arrow returned with 392k (1.9%) at 8pm, while BBC Four's The Detectorists tickled 409k (2.4%) at 10pm.
