Aishwarya Rai: 'I've signed a number of new films but can't say more'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has said that she has a number of new films in the pipeline.

She added, however, that at this stage she cannot say much more about her new projects.

"Besides Jazbaa, I have also given the okay and go ahead to [a] few more scripts," she told Times of India .

"I thought of making an announcement on that today but, I thought with due respect to the director and producer, it would be right for them to make an announcement."

The actress, who turned 41 on Sunday (November 2), said that she was looking forward to getting back in front of the camera.

"Unlike the last two years, this year I have something to talk about. I have loved the script of Jazbaa and we will start shooting for it from January. I am excited about this film."
