Coronation Street has unveiled behind-the-scenes photos that show the impact of the impending attack on Todd Grimshaw.

It was previously revealed that Todd (Bruno Langley ) will be forever changed when he is attacked by a group of thugs.

Todd's family rally around him in the wake of the brutal beating, despite rebuffing his previous attempts to make amends.

Langley is to unveil a dramatic new look for the character, due to Todd exhibiting physical scars.

The actor returned to the role of Todd Grimshaw last year after taking an extended break from the soap.

Coronation Street will include the attack scenes later this week on Friday, November 7 on ITV.
