The 84-year-old applied for permission to appeal against his indecent assault convictions back in August, but today (October 31) The Judicial Office confirmed a judge had refused his application.
The entertainer was jailed for five years and nine months in July after he was found guilty of 12 indecent assaults on four girls, including one aged just 7 or 8 years old.
The offences took place between 1968 and 1986, and during sentencing the judge noted how Harris had taken advantage of his celebrity status and had shown "no remorse" for his actions.
Following the hearing, there were public complaints that the sentence - at least half of which Harris will spend in jail, before completing the rest on licence - was too lenient.
Despite today's bid rejection, Harris can still renew his application before three judges at the Court of Appeal.
