A screening of the special 30-minute film Tales of Us will be broadcast in select theatres worldwide on March 4.
The film follows five people - Stranger, Laurel, Jo, Drew and Annabel - whose stories are told on the album as their lives interconnect in subtle ways.
Only two of the stories - those of Drew and Annabel - have been seen before.
Viewers will experience themes including love, loss, madness and identity over the course of the film - co-created by Alison Goldfrapp and Nowhere Boy's Lisa Gunning.
At the end of the screening, viewers will see a live performance by Goldfrapp, which will be transmitted from the legendary Air Studios in London.
Alison Goldfrapp said: "We're very excited to present a unique event, the Tales Of Us film alongside an intimate live performance, to our fans across the world. We've loved touring the Tales Of Us album and can't wait to bring our live show to local cinemas."
The event will take place in various cinemas across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. Exact details of the select locations will be revealed on the Goldfrapp website, official Facebook and Twitter pages over the coming weeks.
The band are set to embark on a UK tour this spring, which will see them play nine dates throughout March and April.
