Avicii underwent gall bladder surgery this morning (March 29).
"It's a routine procedure and all going well, I expect to be fully recovered and back on my feet in time for my US True Tour," the 24-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Avicii is working with Madonna on her new album.

The Swedish DJ assured fans that he is recovering in hospital, where he is expected to stay for a few days.
"It's a routine procedure and all going well, I expect to be fully recovered and back on my feet in time for my US True Tour," the 24-year-old wrote on Twitter.
"Thanks for your concern everyone, it means a lot to me!"
The 'Hey Brother' producer was set to perform at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami on Thursday, but cancelled after suffering repeated abdominal pains.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Avicii is working with Madonna on her new album.
On March 13, Madonna tweeted: "The End of a long week with Viking Leader AKA DJ Virgo AKA Avicii! So many great songs! #icantwait #revolution
