According to Vulture , the struggling comedy series will be replaced with Hollywood Game Night once the Winter Olympics are finished in primetime.
NBC has aired 15 of the 22 completed episodes, leaving a cloud of uncertainty over the seven remaining episodes.
However, the network has denied that it has cancelled the show altogether, saying: "We are looking for a place on the schedule after April 3."
The news comes after Sean Saves the World was also taken off the channel's Thursday line-up and then cancelled, following low 0.7 ratings in the 18-49 demographic.

The Michael J Fox Show dipped as low as 0.6 in demo ratings, while both shows struggled to attract more than three million viewers.
NBC boss Bob Greenblatt has previously stated that "some hard decisions" would need to be made in order to determine the show's future.
"It's not anywhere near where we'd like it to be," Greenblatt said. "We think they're good shows, and we're really unhappy that we can't find an audience for them."
