The enhanced version of the 2013 action-platformer - which debuted on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita - is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
"It's always been our plan to bring Guacamelee! to additional platforms in order to share the game's unique world with as many gamers as possible; however, we wanted to go one step further and provide fans with new content and features," said DrinkBox co-founder Ryan MacLean.
"We feel that Super Turbo Championship Edition's new levels, enemies and abilities (did somebody say explosive eggs?) will provide armchair luchadores with the richest Guac experience ever."
The game will feature new content, including an expanded story, new areas, abilities, enemies and support for multiple save slots.
Players will be able to take control of a wrestler named Juan Aguacate, as he fights through hordes of baddies to defeat the evil Carlos Calaca from sacrificing El Presidente's Daughter.
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will be released digitally and arrives 'soon'.
